Why do you blame corporations, why don’t you blame human ingenuity and capacity to innovate since we invented stone tools. How do you decide what innovation/automation is good for humans jobs. Not many people cried when a massive amount of people experts as typewriters were replaced by software processor. Matter of fact the one constant in business is change. A few experts in the late 19th century believed that it was impossible to feed whole cities with farmers produces at the time. Nowadays, we only have 10% of famers from early 20th century while producing 10x more due to automation/innovation. Sure, there will be collateral damage as innovation always replaces jobs. Many jobs from the 19th century don’t exist today and many jobs from the 21st century didn’t exist back then. Humans will figure out. This era of passive humans will cry about it then give into the convenience and because it's right there and use it. We stand for nothing we let corporations shape the future as we passively watch and support begrudgingly but stand for nothing. When entry level part time service Jobs no longer exists for kids then![]()
You know teens, and bums are going to try to hang out in there.
That will be the cleanest and most trustworthy place to cop fast food. No need to worry about some pissed off employee spitting in the food, working with dirty ass hands or picking up dropped burger patties on the floor.
I don't blame corporations I expect them to be greedy and us to be on top of their greed and take action to prevent it. But we just play along. Why do you blame corporations, why don’t you blame human ingenuity and capacity to innovate since we invented stone tools. You will be amazed how much innovation/automation went into various industries for a person in the western world to be able to have the current standard of living.
The robot of course, unless you're against robosexuality. So who I'm gonna flirt with?![]()
Do we really play along or each of us make our own decision based off self interest that matches corporations best interests. In Paris 90% of garbage industry workers are black Africans (this shocked me when I landed there in 2009). Why did white French white desert these jobs while the same jobs with same skills in Quebec (where I live) is majority white. I assume that since getting jobs in France is harder for historical reasons, recent immigrants might say “Eh I came all the way from Africa, let me start somewhere. The pay is low but better than what I had back home”. My point is in general if you are a functioning person unless a gun is on your head we all decide what’s best for us. If that decision is to work in a 19th century Carnegie steel mill at 45 degrees Celsius because pay is 2.5x that national average, someone will. The Bengladeshi woman working at Nike factory for 4$/day knows that this option is better than cultivating rice under scorching sun with equal or less pay.I don't blame corporations I expect them to be greedy and us to be on top of their greed and take action to prevent it. Still gonna fukk up my order somehow

Yes man there hasn't been any notable movements of the masses in decades. Like for labour rights etc. People actually bytch bout corporations paying more minimum wage while execs take bonuses and million dollar salaries. When we say eat the right people come to their defense because they think one day they will work their way into the 1%. They believe their lies when they say they are over taxed etc. It's just a general lazy approach to life. Like we expect the government and corporations to change not us the change them.Do we really play along or each of us make our own decision based off self interest that matches corporations best interests.
