It may come off as harsh but he's got a point.
How many other first-ballot Hall of Famers are playing in their primes right now? Bron?
Where are the prime equivalents of Malone, Shaq, DRob, Kobe, Hakeem, Ewing, Duncan, etc?
This is indisputably the weakest point the NBA has been in terms of top players.
We have three players who have a legitimate shot (one who's already in there) at being top-10 players of all time, not to mention all the others who have a chance at finishing top 5 at their positions. How exactly could this possibly be the weakest point in terms of top players?

When Kemp came back from the lockout flabby and sick:mjcry:

I just couldnt get jiggy with that season

Edit

My fault, you said era. Thought you meant season

I was damn near grown when that happened (junior in high school), and I remember my lip quivering like I wanted to cry when I realized the Rainman's reign was over. I was hurt fam.

Every time there's a great player, there's some jackass around the corner talking about how watered down the league is. Which era wasn't watered down. I feel like Im the only dude who has genuinely enjoyed every era of ball.

They're professionals playing against professionals of their caliber. Curry just had one of the greatest years in the history of the league, let him be great.
I honestly hated the 90s WHILE the 90s were going on because I saw the fall off from the 80s. Free agency and expansion scattered the league. Plus I was in NY. I hated the "effort with scrubs" ball from the Knicks. :scust:

He right, the League is watered down, but Steph is lowkey saving the NBA right now

I don't think his comments are jealousy fueled tbh
Me neither. He wasn't talkin down on curry either.

Just was saying there should be more competition for that MVP spot. Curry clearly levels ahead of anyone else in terms of this season.

Well its like this...if bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain didn't get unanimous and mj bron and shaq didn't get unanimous...I don't think curry should be either.

Wilt Oscar and bill were denied because of racism...and every black baller had to suffer the same just so them not getting it could seem status quo...or normal. Steph is great, we all agree, and he deserves mvp, but to do this is disrespectful flat out...Tmac is comin from what he knows about the process and the bs over the years....so this happening now has to spell out national stanning. (Or fear because of being seen publicly as a voter)

These writers arent bright...sadly Michael Wilbon who I didn't expect to do this, is amongst them. But hey, it is what it is. Right now we dealing with a lot of fake forced cronyism to blur racial lines...this is an example. :yeshrug:

That shyt was just sad man.
You just KNEW you wasnt getting Rainman back. I dont even give a shyt if he was a lil effective on the Magic or whatever for a lil bit. With each season after that lock out one homie just got fatter and fatter.
And they said he was smokin that shyt?!
How the hell you a fat crackhead?!:what:
I remember (i cant remember whether it was a documentary or just some random ass NBA Inside Stuff episode) but his sister i think was telling a story of how he dunked the ball at the playground so hard a spark came off the rim :merchant:
Now i know thats probably some ol bullshyt but the story was just cool as hell the way she told it
Like them wild ass Earl the GOAT tales and shyt
Anyway tho, just glad i was able to see dude boof on suckas in some the most disrespectful ways ever.:banderas:
He dunked on that one guy so bad he gave him dap.:deadmanny:

There's sense to what he's saying. Curry is the best player weave seen in a long time, deserving of MVP but the unanimous things is because there's no comp for a player of his caliber right now.

I take nothing from curry, dude is incredible

In the 90s and 00s nikkas were competing with other top 20-25 alltime players, along with other top 10 players even

Kobe, Duncan, Shaq, KG, Dirk, Lebron, Wade, Nash, Kidd...TMac was on like prime Kobe/Wade level.for a couple years

Jordan, Hakeem, Robinson, Karl, Stockton, Ewing, Barkley, Shaq...

I mean outside steph who this season can u really see becoming a top 20 player ever? KD is best chance and he sharing a team with Westbrook. Nikkas aint got their own teams now. Draymond is a top player, Kawhi/LMA on same team. CP3/Blake.... I mean after KD Kawhi the best from this era prolly and he wasn't even better than Pippen who outside of one season wasn't a top threat to win MVP with animals like MJ, Hakeem, Chuck, Robinson, Karl....

Even the 80s got Legend, Magic, Moses, DrJ, Kareem, Zeke....

60s got Russell, Wilt, Logo, Big O.....

I mean all these players I named are in that top 25 OF ALLTIME:yeshrug: I mean with exception of two maybe:yeshrug:

Derrick fukking Rose won an MVP in this era my nikkas :russ:

70s werent really poppin like that in terms of top talent either. Walton was on that alltime level till injuries. Kareem owned that era like Steph will prolly own this one. But facts is facts in terms of alltime greats, top tier players this era er in now the weakest since the 70s:yeshrug:

Lebron shouldve been unanimous in 2013 but fukking Melo got a vote. Carmelo Anthony was a top MVP candidate in this era :mjlol:
