nope not even slightly. he's just saying that back when MJ & them played they werent unanimous and they are the A1 tier so theres clearly a lot less A1 talent if Curry is the one getting it unanimously :manny:
i think the writers nowadays are also more single minded than they were back in the day where if there is a frontrunner he gets overwhelming support that he may not have got in the past. specifically to curry getting all the first place votes, i think its more of a matter of there not being 2-3 voters who want to be contrarians like there has been in the past. guys who decide, ala baseball hof voters, that noone should be unanimous because so and so wasnt and hes better than curry.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Thanks for admitting an Eastern Conference team winning a championship was a scientific anomaly :obama: And I didn't duck the fade. I hit you with the counter jab showing you that the Jazz went to the WCF and did better against the Spurs than Lebron did, and then you cried bully and ran behind this other topic, just admit you don't want these problems :jawalrus:

Counter jab?

LeBron was 22 years old and his team was injured, they had no business being in the finals much like the Jazz had no business being in the WCF, but the 42-40 Warriors advancing and the Jazz advancing somehow isn't an indictment of the West? :smh:

What problems, last time you and I had a basketball discussion you became a Coli Meme and had to wear a sig of my choosing, low key ::lolbron:
Dwight Howard is a top 3 big in this league :laff:, what more can I say? :mjlol:

No he isn't :wtf:

Cousins, Whiteside, Davis, Drummond, Jordan, Gobert, Favors, Draymond, Aldridge, Millsap, Horford, Val, KAT and Lopez all had better seasons than him.

When Houston came to the Knicks Patrick was 34 years old.

Knicks vs Heat 1997 game 7 loss

Ewing: 37 pts,17 reb,4 asst,2 blk 17-27 fg,3-3 ft

Patrick Chewing was still kicking ass at age 34 despite all of the injuries

lol @ considering guys like pierce, gervin, worthy, t-mac, clyde drexler and grant hill all time greats but leaving guys like durant, paul, curry etc off of his current all time greats list

Pierce was an NBA Finals MVP, went through the Cavs (HOF Prime Bron), Pistons (arguably best defensive team in the modern era), and Lakers (HOF Prime Kobe) to win the ship, top 30 all time in games and minutes played, top 5 all time in 3 pt field goals made and attempted, top ten all time in made free throws, top 25 all time in steals, and he's STILL active, I could go on and on, the fact that you even tried to put Pierce in the conversation makes me not want to respond breh, do you, Curry's the greatest :skip:

He aint salty, he just pointed it out that there aint a lot of other dominant players in the league that could challenge Steph in the MVP discussion.
Everyone good is on the same team. Can't really see nikkas who are really bout it bout it spread their wings and get it crackin:francis:

The top teams have always had multiple "top" players.

Even the 01 Sixers had 2 HOF players.

:wtf: He averaged 22, 7, and 5 in the NBA finals and damn near 40% from the 3 point line while playing defense against a prime Kobe, how you not play at a great level and become the finals MVP? :mindblown: Since when is averaging over 20, 5, and 6 for 12 years straight while shooting almost 40% from 3 year in and year out not great?!!!! :mindblown: The fact that Paul Pierce only made 4 All-NBA teams is a testament to HOW WATERED DOWN THE NBA IS NOW!!!! :mindblown: Kobe was on more All-NBA teams than MJ, does that make him better you f*cking retard?! :mindblown:

you bring up one series, yet ignore the other 1000 some odd games, where he never played at a top tier level. he was a good but not great player virtually all his career, and had tremendous longevity so he amassed a lot of counting stats. where does that say "all time great" but kevin durant, chris paul, or steph curry arent?

Nikka it was the cotdamn championship!!!! :mindblown: Nikka a Paul Pierce team only missed the playoffs once in the last 15 years, and made the playoffs 5 straight times before Garnett was signed. How is this even a debatable topic? :mindblown:

Since that meeting was held that also decided that averaging 27/7/4 on 48% from the field for 9 years straight and a MVP wasn't great.

Paul Pierce is a hell of a lot more trustworthy than Durant has been. Much higher basketball IQ. Pierce put up 26 points a game in the regular season. Who cares. Gives me the guy who won Finals MVP. Give me the guy who didn't melt against LeBron and Kobe. Give me the guy who upped his game.
