Since that meeting was held that also decided that averaging 27/7/4 on 48% from the field for 9 years straight and a MVP wasn't great.

:patrice:

Saying Lebron isn't on Kobe's or MJ's level doesn't mean he isn't great in his own right, but he's just not GOAT level, he showed that when he went to Miami to form Voltron, he showed that by getting swept in the Finals twice and losing a 3rd time in what was colloquially known as a 5 game sweep. But he's definitely an all time great, but he's been doing it for 9 years, Curry's only really been doing it for the last 2

Nikka it was the cotdamn championship!!!! :mindblown: Nikka a Paul Pierce team only missed the playoffs once in the last 15 years, and made the playoffs 5 straight times before Garnett was signed. How is this even a debatable topic? :mindblown:
whats your point? what makes him better than durant, curry, or paul, which was the original point? you got your panties in a wad acting like im saying he sucked. you can be a fine player, and at the same time not be as good as the current guys going. what does random shyt like minutes played, or making the playoffs with 36 wins matter? he was carmelo anthony before they brought in kg and allen. right there in the good but not great tier

Paul Pierce is a hell of a lot more trustworthy than Durant has been. Much higher basketball IQ. Pierce put up 26 points a game in the regular season. Who cares. Gives me the guy who won Finals MVP. Give me the guy who didn't melt against LeBron and Kobe. Give me the guy who upped his game.

It's so easy to spot a real one :salute: He beat out 2 of the top 10 wing players of ALL TIME en route to his championship. Pierce averaging 20 points on only 14 attempts FOR HIS CAREER, with 35% of those attempts being 3s is :mindblown: How are you gonna talk about efficiency and not mention one of the GOAT efficient players. :what: Kobe, the #2 SG of all time trying to model his game after Paul Pierce to become more efficient should tell you all you need to know

LeBron puts up 40+ and Pierce matches him with 40. It wasn't all about KG and Allen in that game was it? That's how a star meets a challenge. Oh shyt, this nikka goin off so now I gotta go off TOO.

When has Durant ever matched LeBron?

No, the original point is that the league is watered down, which you so eloquently corroborated by stating that Paul Pierce only had 4 All NBA team awards. If Paul Pierce career had started in '10, he'd already have 6 All NBA team awards. And making the playoffs with 36 wins is impressive when you should have been a 10 win team. Some of the teams Kobe took to the playoffs were full of D-league players, so it's more impressive to win 70 games with a dominant roster and a deep bench then it is to win 40 games as the man carrying a team who had no business playing in the NBA? :what:

Nikkaz mistake efficiency for lack of dominance. Pierce was only taking 14-18 shots a game. Like Clyde Drexler and Scottie Pippen wouldn't be averaging 40 ppg if they were getting 20-25 attempts a game like today's "stars" are getting.

Only 2 teams in NBA history have won 70 games.

We see shytty one man teams make the playoffs all the time.
Regular season tho :patrice:

LeBron just cakewalked through the reg season. Cavs didn't take it seriously. Playoffs is where stars are born.
The 5 games in the Finals, Durant put up 31 per game on 55% from the field while James put up 29 on 47% shooting.

Bron and Pierce played against each other in 30 playoff games, Pierce shot 39%.

You've got that one game where they put up 45/44, but there are several games where Bron just thoroughly outplayed Pierce.
Like Clyde Drexler and Scottie Pippen wouldn't be averaging 40 ppg if they were getting 20-25 attempts a game like today's "stars" are getting.
Scottie shot 18 times a game in 93-94 and only put up 22ppg.

Clyde shot 21 times a game twice, put up 27ppg both times.

dunno if you can read. a guy posted who he considered "all time greats" of particular eras. he only mentioned 2, wade and bron, from this era while mentioning guys like the handful i listed in my original post. i noticed you didnt pick a fight with grant hill, james worthy, clyde drexler etc. somehow youre all bent out of shape because i consider paul pierce below durant, paul and curry as far as individual players go. i couldnt give a flying fukk about games played, minutes played, making playoffs with 36 wins etc, scoring 40 one game vs lebron or any other nonsense youve brought up. i mean, if you really consider paul fukking pierce to be on steph curry or kevin durants level, i dont know what to tell you. you think paul pierce was worth 26 wins for a team :dead:
