Growing up in the Caribbean I remember specifically have 2 classes: reading, and comprehension before I was 6 years old. Americans may be literate, but they lack the intellectual inquisitiveness that most adults should have.

You’re telling me that a functioning adult really believes there’s a child-smuggling ring a few blocks from the White House? You’re telling me that the more money you have the more money you’re willing to part with? It takes a certain mental mindframe to believe certain things.

Oh yeah for sure, but it just depends on how deep down the wormhole you're willing to go, you can turn into a borderline conspiracy theorist, but there's legit issues to be skeptical about.

From my studies the most simplest answer i can give is that it's "profits over people".

To a larger extent its about power, control, and limiting competition.

these drugs are pretty expensive to produce and then bring to market. I know the hospital where I rotate doesn't even purchase them outright (especially the biologics) but keeps them on hand on loan from wholesalers/manufact. until a sure therapy regimen is decided and reimbursement is worked out

crazy stuff but there are limited resources in general

there are times when you realize decisions are being made between (possibly) saving one life and making sure health services are sustainable for everyone longterm.

But in this Mckennson case...definitely fukked up, prefilled syringe hustling, especially for cancer is demonic
