Inspector Deck is a big one, but like folks said thats more a case of he should of got an album out during RZA/WuTang's prime.

As for the solo Prodigy, I see the angle but I cant really cosign, because it would only be vaguely different from the Mobb Deep albums. Realistically its not like he was stylistically going other directions than Hav in 97... Would been prodigy rhyming the same way, about the same topics, over the same production, and he woulda had to throw at least one havoc/infamous mobb/big noyd verse on the album... at which point it woulda sounded just like a mobb album...

How about JUELZ SANTANA

El Tigallo would have had production from Dream Merchant era 9th Wonder and Connected era Nicolay :wow:

Charity Starts At Home is a personal GOAT album for me though :salute:

Bruh. ....I LOVE that album. Been wanting a follow up.... Foreign Exchange is dope but definitely not the same lol

i think there's def artists that can't handle a solo or aren't suited to a solo setting. but there's also some artists that i think deserve at least the chance to prove themselves. Big Boi has thrived since Speakerboxxx IMO every album has been better than the last or at least as good. imagine if Ice Cube stayed with NWA & never put out a solo album until Bow Down or even Lethal Injection?
What do you mean "prove themselves"? They already have. Why do people think rappers need a solo album to prove their worth? Maybe I think rappers need a group project to prove themselves. I mean we dont know if "they can do it" I mean naS failed miserably on his ventures does that affect how people view his actual rap capabilities? (as if people actually looked at them). All we need to judge a rapper is the work that theyve done. Everything else outside that is irrelevant. Big Boi isnt magically better than 3000 because he dropped solo joints. See what I mean?

Black Thought

:whoa: He's still extremely dope and still has time to do it, but the Illadelph/Things Fall Apart version of Black Thought over some outside production like Havoc, Dilla and Pete Rock would have been :wow:

oh and yeah Kurupt too most definitely
