For some reason this album has been on non stop rotation like the whole year


I'm literally becoming a 2pac stan as an adult....I dunno. I was always a fan of Pac but now I'm really finding myself relating....I dunno if I've just seen levels of sadness and emotion that I never experienced as a kid now that I'm an adult but Pac was just the realest.

I had the same experience, I didnt become a huge Pac fan until I got older. I used to think Biggie was better The more I went through in life the more and more his lyrics meant to me. It's not even close now. I cant say that for anyother artist ever.

This is my favorite album of all time. Ive actually had 2 people tell me this album saved their life. Ive never heard anyone say that about a hip hop album other than this one.

MATW is classic as classic gets...
but is still #2 Pac album. that 7 Day Theory is MATW on roids.

But I cant really argue w/ someone who picks MATW... its like which Jordan was better; the 1st three ships or the last three?

Anyways, So Many Tears, Lord Knows, If I Die 2nite, Outlaw, the title track, Heavy in the Game, Young Niccaz, Dear Mama, Old School, Temptations, Can U Get Away, etc.... just some classic ass shyt maynes

I wasn't fukking with this album too much. I thought 7 day and AEOM were better but i will revisit it soon again. The production was my biggest problem.

The whole album get's no skips.
I hated this album as a kid,
I hated pac as a kid.
He actually scared me.
This was a time before digitally distribution of music,
back then you had to visualize the song, months before the video was released to the public.
As a kid,
I did that.
It took me too a placeI did not like at the time.
Now I understand it.
Plus,
my dad and mom played the hell out of that album.
This was the time where Hip-Hop and Rap was not fully a youth game.
the kids, teenagers, adults knew all the rappers in the 90's.
It's hard to get most teenagers and all the adults attention today like that.
That's is why the 90's is goat,
anyway,
As I became older, I understood pac.
I was riding with NaS.
I can listen to a NaS song, and label him the GOAT.
I can listen to any Pac song, and label him the GOAT.

don't let yourself become confused, NaS is the goat.. pac is a co-goat.... there are a few other co-goats... but NaS will always be the goat

I love this album to another extent. It co-signs a lot of shyt going on in my life. This time last year i was contemplating suicide and decided to throw this album on from track one.

I thought to myself "damn I'm going through some shyt but this man was a soilder. How can i throw my life away when someone like Pac was going through worse situations as a human and still said fukk the world and did him"

I put the gun down after that. ​

also one of the many reasons pac is considered the goat..he literally saved prolly 100+ lives with his music.

intestinal disease.
in the hospital for 3 months.
I got addicted to Pain Killers and Through it all my Girlfriend found time to leave me when i needed her the most.
Most of my so called friends never gave two fukks enough to visit me and see how i was doing.
I was forced to drop out of school and claim disability.

So you can imagine the mind frame i had at the time.

One day i said fukk it i can't take this anymore. Took my cousin's biscuit bought a bottle of henny and starting driving down the highway at 120 drinking. I decided to throw the first album i saw in my CD booklet in rotation and it happened to be Me Against The World.

I was planning on plowing into an exit barricade and if i was still alive i'd blow my brains out right then and there.

I was doing about 130 when the So Many Tears came on

I was like a newborn baby listening to that shyt. I put the gun down and pulled over and just soaked the entire album in.

I can honestly say 2Pac saved my life breh.​
