Allison's sister, Olivia, who had recently graduated from college, told Insider that some of her friends were sending Portnoy direct messages attempting to get the mogul's attention but he "wasn't giving them the time of day." Then they realized that her 19-year-old sister, Allison, might be more his type.
"They said: 'You should reach out to him, he likes younger girls.' And he completely took the bait," Olivia said. "He was much more interested in her than any of my 22-year-old friends."
Allison sent Portnoy a message telling him she was on the island and would love to see him. He invited her over to his house, and she asked him whether she could come by with a couple of friends.
"While we fukk? Seems weird," Portnoy wrote in a message viewed by Insider. Allison responded, "Nah they don't mind."
Allison does not describe what happened to her as sexual assault but said she was still deeply disturbed by the experience. "I just felt very preyed on," she said.
I can't speak on the other allegation, but these women out here are trashShe literally reached out to him and then had the nerve to say she felt preyed upon
My point exactly. I know nothing about this dude (I be out the loop when it comes to a lot of these white folks lol) but going by the stories in the article, I put the blame on the women more than on him.
All of them knew what he was about and they went to go meet him.

You're saying that a lawyer would advise him to NOT put his response video out, right? I totally understand that from an old point-of-view, but now more than ever in the modern-world we are in a time of being judged and condemned by society before any evidence is even made available.
If this became a case that has legs, and we only got to hear Portnoy's side 1 year from now, then that would be a whole year's worth of people already having their mind made up about him (at least in regards to this case). So, I see why he wanted to put a statement out to try to get some people on his side before things get TOO out-of-hand. Perception is reality and all that...

Yep. This is where Cosby and others messed up. Lawyers tell you to stay silent in this day and age, then they are leading you to the slaughter like a lamb.

This ain’t the sort of shyt you release a selfie video of unedited. Too much innuendo. That’s why you get a LAWYER to WRITE some shyt for you. You can’t get involved then have people parsing every word of your denial and making you even sound guilty even if the facts are on your side.
