I've played Ryse man, it's fun for the first 30 minutes but then it's like....OK, that's it? It's a great looking game though but this is next gen so we cant give it too many score points for that. The reviews for both this and Killzone SF were more than fair IMO.
:comeon: Have you played through the game in its entirety?

:why: would I do that? I played it at a friends house for about an hour and a half because I wanted to see what it was like....then we threw Killer Instinct back in (which is a great game by the way)

I didn't have to play UC2 in it's entirety to know that it's one of the best action games ever made....I knew that by about the 4th chapter.

If you had heard that the combat in uncharted was shallow, then you sat down to play for a limited time at a friends house, and played through a couple combat sections on easy just running up and punching/mindlessly shooting goons.

You would come away from that game thinking its shallow as well.

How can you judge a story/characters if you have not experinced the whole thing? That's like watching a preview of a movie and then claiming some other movie is way better:heh:

Wow. So why do you have any opinion at all about Uncharted? You didn't finish that entire series either, so you have no grounds to speak on it, right?

-- Meach logic.

Playing through 2 and a half out of 3 is much more experience than watching some previews.

Watch a preview or a piece of one Star Wars movie and you'd know nothing about it, you'd be wrong to pass judgement. Watch the first couple movies in the series and you have grounds to give an opinion.

And you know this, but you'd rather try to reach for some way to prove me contradicting myself. And you said I was arguing like a female:scusthov:

an hour and a half - 2 hours is more than enough time to decide whether a game is worth your time or not. UC is supposed to be a story driven shooter...it's not supposed to be deep. UC1 was kind of like a tech demo introducing you to Drake but the mechanics were solid and the game was FUN to play through with a great script, likeable characters, and perfect pacing....that's why it's the franchise that it is now. Ryse is none of that. It's a great looking mess of a game with a generic story/main character that isn't strong enough to carry the empty QTE infested gameplay...and from what I'v heard you can finish the campaign in 90 minutes :laff: is that true? I'm genuinely asking you since you've apparently played the game inside-out.

I was chilling with this shorty for Thanksgiving and she had the X1 hooked up with this game inside.
I can't take away from the fact that it's presentation is Great, but once you start playing through it it gets crazy repetitive. They disguised those QTE kills pretty good I must admit. That's a good gimmick to go with so we don't have to be distracted by a button showing up on the screen.
The Story is dope. I was immersed in it. (5 hours in and I started to get bored so shorty made that meat Ryse, instead) Lol
Shorty said she already beat it so she didn't mind licking balls while I tore through the ranks. Good thing about it is that it's not hard taking out a whole room of enemies and getting head at the same time. It's simple. Once you get the controls down, you're good.
It's only so many kills I could dish out, though, so I went with turning it off and getting my nut, instead.

Looks great, and I'm sure the campaign ended well, but it was something missing. Seemed a little shallow to me....

Game sales? I thought ur points were about innovation and entertainment. :patrice:

Going by this logic, if the xbox1 and it's games sell poorly then they are neither innovative nor entertaining :heh:

Naw my point was that wii u doesn't have the best gaming experiences this Christmas. I think the majority of the gaming community has proven me right.

It's obvious you have not played the game. There is no point in continuing this if you are just gonna tell lies.
