It's crazy how perception can mean more than reality.
If you look at the PS4 reveal Sony has been lying and taking advantage of customers from the jump. Yet other companies like EA and Ubisoft get labeled as anti-consumer.
This console gen has been interesting to say the least. Don't know if its just Sony Stans go the hardest on the web, or if Sony just hit the jackpot in consumer confidence/benfit of the doubt

Sony puts out bullshots and downgrades, nobody cares
Ubisoft downgrades a game that was demoed before the system was even announced and everybody wants their heads.
EA puts Microtransactions in games and releases marginally upgraded games with broken online/multiplayer and they get voted "the worst company in the world"
Sony does the same and the game is getting 10/10 review scores.

If we're going to go there, let's lump every game that has "broken" online and/or microtransactions implemented in this pitfire.

The Microtransactions are worse. The online is not. But seeing as this is a remaster at full price the online problems shouldn't be there.
And either way I'm not trying make them "comparable". Just saying that Sony gets a pass for shyt other devs get crucified for.

This "Sony gets away with shyt" narrative you try to create simply doesn't exist. You go on any other forum and you'll see devs getting ethered for days. You just so happen to see people refuting anything online as "stanning" and then assume the entire fanbase excuses anything done by the devs.
I always called out ND back during UC3 days for microtransactions and customization bs excuses they made for online MP but that quickly gets ignored. I fukking hate EA for BF4 because that shyt plain ole didn't work for months and still has dumb issues but that doesn't mean I'll say BF4 is a bad game. It's just handled bad.
