You gotta look into some basic double and single leg takedowns. If you can't pick him up you just grab a leg, hook one of your legs behind his and drive forward. That's a takedown.

From there you take side control and then the mount where you can reign strikes in meech mouth.

Watch for Meech to swing first and then get your duck on and get that takedown.

If you are overwhelmed disengage and circle out allowing Meech to either give chase or get back to a neutral position. If he chases you change levels and initiate the takedown.
