ATL nightlife is better than most cities nightlife. Thing about it is the best spots aren't advertised on the radio so you need to just know where to go to dance. Most of y'all go to the popping bottle spots on the radio and don't know about the other scenes in ATL. I'm in the old school scene and we dance. I go to MJQ on Fridays, Sound Table, El Bar, OSS, any Dj Kermit events, etc, etc. Sorry your generation doesn't know how to have fun but the other scenes in ATL like the house music scene, reggae scene, etc have fun

Music not being "fun" anymore is apart of it.

Trap music isn't "fun".

Trap music isn't conducive to positive energy and letting your guard down/having fun. It has the opposite effect. Trap music has a dark, "demonic" feel to it. I personally can only listen to trap music in small doses due to how it makes me feel.

As much as people shyt on the Lil Jon'/ Ringtone era, the music was "fun" and had an upbeat, danceable energy to it.






And we don't even have to bring up social media itself.

yup. believe it or not I've actually been in a discussion with a pioneer of ATL music

they blame it on DJ Khaled "it's a movie" culture

they said the entire club turned into the VIP section after that shyt...overnight people just stopped wanting to dance and just be fly in the club
