I was checking snap stories one day and I saw a snap story from a chick whos always partying. I thought to myself "man don't she know nobody truly cares about all these damn stories about where she at and what moments she having?"

There are OTHER nightlife venues in the A outside of lounges/stripclubs if you want to drink cheaply or dance but I'll let yall cook lol.

I actually heard an ATL hip hop legend say that DJ khaled killed the club scene with that "it's a movie" shyt (their words not mine)

said it made people go to the club and feel too cool to dance, just stunt and be like a celebrity

Africans , island folks and latinos do just fine in the club .

Dance the night away and aren't on their phones all night .

Y'all nikkas just go to wrong places. Living in Austin, Oakland and LA ppl actually party and dance...especially in Oakland and LA.
went to some bar where quest love was DJing in echo park and i swear everybody was dancing. Downtown Austin is always poppin, tons of options in a small area so you can bar hop all night
Spot is dead? Walk the next bar and have a good time but I'm biased due to the lack of hip-hop on West 6th. East 6th is where it's at and more black folks.

If you gotta pay a cover to get in the you at the wrong spot imo. Opt to go to bars instead of straight up clubs...if the VIP section is big as the dance floor than it's time to dip.

That's a different crowd and age group though.
Those ?uestlove/Vikter Duplaix/Kiss N Grind parties cater to the 70s to 00s music lovers. Crowd is usually mid 20s - 40+.
Folks who grew up in or digs that era aint on their cellphones or standing around as half naked chicks deliver bottles with fireworks on them. Most ppl are dancing

Destroyed a lot of things. Random people walking around with their heads in their phones oblivious to the world around them. I haven't been to a legit club since like 2010. It's this bad? Gotdamn I remember back in the day getting hype to go to the club. I'd stay the fukk home if it was like this. Woulda saved me a lot of money and years on my life.
