The people exposed all day working at the grocery stores and restaurants are the same ones enjoying themselves at night in the clubs. Frontline workers never had the privilege to quarantine and isolate.

And people work at those clubs too. We would collapse if we shut down indefinitely without providing a monthly stimulus and support to small businesses and to citizens. Govt didnt want to provide that support which is why everything is open. So until the govt takes it seriously nobody trying to hear nothing about shut downs. that's why its a loosing issue. People were left out on their own to struggle, get laid off, and business closed permanently during the spring/ early summer shutdowns.

I completely agree that the response from the federal government was criminally and woefully inadequate. Should have kept the industries (and their employees) that couldn’t function remotely, like clubs, afloat through stimulus checks and PPP. Trump and the GOP fukked that up and it should cost them the White House and House.

Still doesn’t mean it is safe or responsible to be out clubbing in a pandemic.
