Its crazy how good J.Cole is doing. I fukked with him heavy during his WarmUp, Friday Night Lights and Cole World years, but kinda fell off his music. I'm gonna give last two studio albums a listen.

a 360 deal for certain artists is not bad actually
People underestimate his staying power. His shows increased tenfold since 2010 and his day one fans are still riding with him. Many people that did better than him back then are now not at the rap scene anymore.
Just saying, lets not act like he doesn't have the machine behind. Have you seen the promo run they put behind his debut and sophomore album?
They even had Jay Electronica doing Mountain Dew commercials. The machine can make you a household name.
