you comparing a game that dropped what 3 years ago?? of course there is going to be a significant jump. that shyt look like megaman 3...
compare that new gen shot w/ something similar released this year on current gen and tell me if that jump is as significant....
I'm comparing a launch 360 game to a sequel of the same game launching on the Xbox one.

What you are attempting is an apples to oranges comparison.
Yes there are other next gen games that look better, but there aren't any next gen games that are open world with thousands of enemies, no load times, customizable weapons/vehicles.
Would it be a fair assessment for me to say those games aren't next gen, since they can't make those claims?
Uncharted is a closed off corridor shooter with no customizable anything and very limited combat interactions.
The fact that this game can pack the visual fidelity of a game like that, but put it into an open world with no load times and thousands of A.I. is a huge leap over last gen already. And once again this is a launch title.

in respect to the significance in its graphical increase you are comparing games 3 years apart. dr3 from what I've seen is not visually impressive. I saw you mention the detail and I begged to differ. its got to be other reasons why this game is being considered a must have. for me its not in the gameplay so i figured maybe its the graphics. nah....

They've said thousands. Maybe it just feels that way.
Either way driving a car through hundreds of independent A.I. Is something gamers have not been able to experience on weaker hardware.

Name any game that has so much going on, on screen. Open world, hundreds of A.I. No load times.

i get it. when its on the same playing field you want to compare the visuals of ryse and forza to other new gen stuff not in the same genre. dr3 is the least visually impressive new gen game (from what I've seen) and you want to compare it to old tech to justify it being considered new gen? oh the AI? breh that AI looks beat....
I've never compared the graphics of Forza or Ryse to different game in different genres.

both articles had no substance of their own. the first one was all about the Joystiq article. then literally the next day dude writes another article saying the same crap, using Jack's video as an example.
