California police say an anti-vaccine supporter has been cited for assault after he filmed himself in a physical altercation with a Democratic state legislator who authored a bill to restrict vaccine exemptions as the measles outbreak rages.

The lawmaker assaulted has previously said anti-vaccine activists, "threaten me all the time," but said he was "fortunate. We do have security in the Capitol."
