Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
1) 25 Holly Ln, Rye, NY 10580 | Zillow - This one is 25K in taxes

2) 10 Roger Sherman Pl, Rye, NY 10580 | Zillow - 28-30K in taxes

3) 29 Corell Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583 | Zillow - 23K in taxes in 09" prob 25-27K now at best...if you go above 1.4 Mill its 30K+ in taxes Rye, Mamaroneck, Rye brook, Scarsdale, Bronxville, Pelham..... White Plains and New Ro are cities within the county large area so less taxes more plots to pull money from...Taxes in Larchmont are high...Tarrytown each time I drive through its looks like its 1920....
If I buy a house for more than a million $25K in taxes seems par for the course

That's a damn lie.

Unless you're area is all million dollar homes.

Even then a $5M home in LA pays like 28k in property taxes...so your neighborhood gotta be homes that's $2M and up

Well shyt. :dahell: That ain't bad.

Do you have any idea how much people pay in property taxes in the Northeast and in Chicago? In Cook County Illinois which is where Chicago is I will not even bother writing what people pay in taxes. I will just put the website with the calculators up there and you can see how they raped.

There is a reason that people that people are bailing the Hell out of Chicago and the Northeast. The discussion needs to be about assessed versus appraised value and tax rates when discussing property taxes.

My sis just told me that in Texas their beef is that the property taxes vary wildly from year to year...shyt can just jump by $5000 or $10000 out the blue.

Queen City

This entire livestream was excellent but I timestamped the relevant portion. Black and White people are going to get that work over the next couple of years drinking the hyper-individualism Kool-Aid with average income.

City Planning Commissions, and outspoken residents are going to need to make some tough choices also
  • We are massively in need of more single and multi-family housing:hula:We want to preserve woods and old small homes taking up large lots
  • We need affordable housing :hula:We only want to live in the trendy walk-able part of cities we can namedrop to our friends & followers like gang members drop streets they represent

People complaining about whether a 1200 mortgage includes homeowners insurance (not much money) and property tax? You can tell who actually owns vs who rents :dead:

All for for home owners insurance, sewage/trash/water/taxes/fixes around the house you can plan for another 6-8k...so that person is 20K all into the home to keep it up.....
What bullshyt. Sewer and trash? Water? Lmfao. For sure a renter. Owning a home and building equity will always be better than renting and not paying a cheap ass sewage and water bill

cuz ppl always wanna feel better than somebody

it’s not about income, it’s about yo expenses

59K salary but paid off car , paid off house or ain’t gotta pay rent , no kids , single = $$$

most these ppl with these crazy expectations be having hella kids , so they GOTTA go hard
It's either that or they're living waaay above their means so they have to grind and stress twice as hard to make ends meet.

60%+ of buyers are couples, so the comparison should be household income.

If you're single you probably would need to buy the "average" house anyway
True although less than 3 bedrooms even as a single person is less than ideal because it's much easier to sell a 3 bedroom than a 2 bedroom

So, you own because it’s better than renting? You don’t say. No one would rather rent than own and pay menial bills like 30 dollar a month sewage payments
