Median household income is an interesting metric, but not the most useful.

Latinos will often have 2+ working adults in the home.

They cherry picked the higher earning Asians but left out Samoans/Tongans, Hmong, Vietnamese etc.

Blacks probably have fewer working adults per household, so our numbers will always be lower.

The Indian number seems a bit high. Most of them are either married or grown adults living with their parents while making 6-figs.

Whites are tricky because they have a lot of well-off people that skew their numbers. Big city whites (what most Blacks see) usually do OK. Small-town whites be on the gubmint assistance.

The Black number looks like one person's income while the others look more like 1.5 to 2+ adult incomes. Filipinos are legit. They usually make good money but on the lowlow.

Someone else posted data lumped all Asians together and they are still above $100k. Asian household prioritize education and marriages which results in higher household income, stability, etc.

Facts me and my wife just had heated debate about this and I was telling her if she truly believes the dynamics of American black men and black women are getting any better in terms of marriage from each other. Soon as she said it can work interracially I had to end the conversation since I knew she wouldn’t see the bigger picture.

This isn't an ethnic break down. This is a racial/ethnic breakdown.

How can you compare all Black people and cacs to Philipinos, indians, japanese, etc...

Shyt doesn't make sense
The list is useless because they have not delineated hispanics, black people, or natives like they did for the various asian groups.

There are 2 dozen hispanic countries. 4 dozen black African countries including the Caribbean, and differing native tribes like Navajo or Cherokee living high off the hog from casino money vs Aleutians in Alaska living like its 1850.

List author was clearly asian too. And conveniently left out cambodians , Vietnamese or Hmong who have notoriously low incomes

Being below Native Americans is embarrassing. I initially thought maybe Native Americans have a significantly high unemployment rate than blacks, which will effectively remove potential low income worker from the data set but their unemployment rate is only 2-3% higher than ours.
This is another case for delineation because some tribes are gucci because of casinos or govt lease contracts, while others live like its 1850. This ignores natives with tribal bases in hcol areas like Honolulu or the bay area who literally cannot exist without high incomes.

Because of the insane size of america when you include continental/alaska/hawai, the natives have a much more diverse background than even hispanics.

It's wild as hell that white Americans have been getting outclassed by Asians (South, East and West) for years now, yet they have zero issues with that.

Now, let a black person make a sprinkle more or less than them, and they get butthurt and bring up DEI like a black person at their level hasn't had to likely put in more work than everyone other race:mjlol:.

It's probably twice as much work because we usually come out of shítty environments growing up with very few [if any] role models.

You could make the same argument about Black Americans, Nigerians, Kenyans, Haitians, etc. all being categorized as Africans.
Or Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Salvadorians, Cubans, etc. all being categorized as Hispanics.
Just pointing out the list combined other groups into broad categories.

Listen to the video, dude said African Americans, even though he only listed Africans. I think that's where you're getting confused. And since it's ethnicity based, it only makes since why those groups are broken down, they have nothing in common with each other.
