Foremost and firstly... I've been a fan since the summer/got introduced to her.


Hot Girl Summa was my jam and I still have it in heavy rotation.


So I'm driving a customers vehicle today and they had satellite radio and came across her new joint for the Slim and Queen soundtrack (NO Bounce beat ftw).


Got back to the office and decided to do some more research and came across this gem.






Good lawd is this woman talented and charismatic.



She's everything you want in an entertainer/woman.

The track on the 17 minute mark is a laid back groove about infidelity. So you are correct. But it's a catchy tune and has real melody/song writing to it. Which tells me she's more than capable of making solid records but she caters to a certain demographic because that's what sells (she even said she dumbs down her music because of it).

I'm okay with that, as a dysfunctional person himself... this is right up my alley.



Just kudos to her for a job well done on an intimate stage like NPR Tiny Desk.

Fukk this trash bytch. The real stars of this video are Phony Ppl who served as her backing band for this performance. These brehs are a FIRE young band from Brooklyn. They're like an East Coast version of The Internet with better vocals. I saw them live at the Blue Note earlier this year, and they absolutely bodied it. I always try to put nikkas onto underground fire R&B, but nikkas don't want to listen. I'ma give y'all this anyway.
