Yes, he did. Bad was a hit. But this album was poorly promoted man. He fell under K. Dot's shadow. No one knew this album was dropping. Roc Nation would have done so much more with that Jerry Seinfeld theme.

:what:

that album got HEAVY promo and they ran with that Seinfeld connection. We really doubting the media skills of Lebron's camp?

Man..... This shyt is different now..... You can't just think it's easy as slapping a "Roc Nation" promo sticker on something and it popping. The people can listen to the single but no BUY the album. "bad" got him some extra female fans last run... They bought the album... This time no
What are you talking about? We are talking abut actual promotion. You're literally arguing some shyt that no one is talking about. No that promotion was not golden. There was literally a twitter convo on Wale's page between fans about how poorly this album was promoted. Problems: the album sold last time because (a) he had a bigger single, (b) his timing was off and he should have dropped in December like Cole, and (c) he was not a part of the Roc Nation promotional campaign like last time. The last time Wale dropped he was a part of Roc Nation's June-July run.

They don't get it man... Rich Paul and then had the promo GOLDEN!... The People just didn't buy it this time. It happens
That is completely false. Entirely false. Wale basically got the same promo as Stalley + NY radio. Wale + Sean's promo would have done at least 150k.

been that
all great songs. album is sitting at a 3.5/5 for me. i know what kinda content im gonna get from him in each his verses but at times he is inconsistent w/ these lyrics. there r some cringe worthy bars and punchlines on here. he's at his best over bangers. people say they have trouble understanding him but his delivery-- or the way hell slur certain lines is one of his strengths imo. the two nicki tracks r some blatant pop attempts. the likes of which i havent seen since the early-mid 2000's.

Great album, I listen to it on the regular (no pun intended)

Might be a future classic :patrice:
Great album and I thought it was below average at first .

Didn't feel it at all for real .

Went back took time with it and loved it .

Stand up and trillest my fav tracks .

I actually think that breakfast club interview made me see him and different light then I really sat down with the album .

Not classic but VERY solid .
