1.) He will be dissing Ross this time next year or earlier.
2.) He will have a free Meek (off of MMG) type movement on Instagram.
3.) Ross will post a picture with him, AR-ab, and Dark Lo on Instagram with some stupid caption about respecting Philly.
4.) Nicki and Safari make up and they post a picture smiling on Instagram.
5.) AR-ab and Dark Lo give a 1 hour YouTube video talking about killing 3 people last week and saying they cool with both side, while taking slick shots at both sides.
6.) Meek is caught with a gun and gets 120 months in federal prison.
7.) AR-ab dies in a car accident
8.) Dark Lo is killed a few months later.
9.) Nicki "sextape" drops
10.) Ross struggles to find success in music but has success with other ventures.

They don't make money from albums

I'm big on passive income and always thought putting out music is one of the many ways to get passive (residual) income for life.
I know the music industry has changed drastically (illegal downloads, streaming) but I'm curious what profit an artist would see off their album.
He's selling it for $9.99 on itunes which I assume people will get since mostly all his songs are album only...
So out of that $9.99, would profit does the artist get?
And if an artist makes most of their money doing shows and tours, that kind of beats the purpose of passive income...
Rambling but the business side of the music industry has always intrigued me.

Anyone knowledgeable know how artists like meek, ross, future are making bank w/o doing tours and shows? or is the big money ONLY doing shows?

I can't say but I'd assume they are making the same as before possibly more. It's a lot less to recoup these days.

Ross/Meek have endorsements and investments in other things (Wingstop/Puma/Reebok/24K Headphones etc..). Plus they can pack huge venues at shows. They are brands not just rappers.

Not to mention there are no more big budgets to recoup from like back in the 90's-2000's, dudes shoot a couple of viral videos and promote their shyt on IG.
