How do people listen a whole album of this yelling ass nikka...can't even finish a song without getting a headache

This intro kinda hot though :lupe: but then that Swizz Beats song came on...and fukked it all up :scust: Why do people still fukk with this nikka Swizz? :dahell:

edit: Future Vandross laced this bytch :wow:
This

Iunno how Swizz could be featured on a album of this (relatively) high profile in 2015... :beli::why:

best song on the album is cold hearted...it was prob the most honest & heartfelt track on the project

It's dope. But best track is clearly "The Trillest"

"We ain't wanna go to class, we was sellin' coke raw
The principal was coppin' too, hit him with a snowball
"

Jesus this line was so hard. I went to high school with Quilly and Montana Black and know from first hand they was slinging to teachers. Also i know Strawberry Mansion(Meek's High School) was full of kids selling.

He grew up in the streets of Philly. He's a milenieal so he was indoctrinated into hip hop's golden era and became an adult in the late 2000s...

A lot of the 90s era will be remembered for gangsta rap.

Ice Cube, Dr.Dre, Ice T, Snoop Dogg, 2 Pac

Scarface (The Geto Boys), Master P, UGK, Outkast & the dungeon family, BG (The Hot Boy$),

Twista

Jay Z, Nas, Beans*, Eve*, DMX, The Lox, B.I.G, Big Pun, Wu-Tang Clan

Yeah... Those acts were huge when he was a kid then you transition into the 2000s

He's very influenced by the ROC for obvious reasons.. He's also a huge 50 cent fan.

The gangster rap era condotioned a generation. This shouldn't come as shock. Even the backpackers and conscious artists were more gritty and edgey than this new generation

There are a lot of people who sound like Meek when you ask them about J.Cole or Kendrick Lamar

Don't know why people find this so hard to understand

I can't listen to this dude for an entire album. The lack of good hooks, repetitive subject matter, uninspired production dude epitomizes whats wrong with the northeast in general. Meanwhile 2 West Coast dudes (Boogie and Vince)just dropped some street shyt that is the exact opposite of this mess.

its lines like that and tracks like "Ambitionz" why I can understand Meek respecting but not getting inspired by J. Cole or Kendrick.
