Projected 90K first week…the album is generic as hell not bad background music but a huge downgrade from his last
Edit: don’t get the hate for the Kehlani joint that might be the one to catch on

Tweaking is like a perfect example of my view on Meek. Dope beat, hook isn't bad...then he starts rapping and you immediately realize you can think of 10 dudes off the top of your head who could have murdered that shyt. He just exists on this album. Nothing feels authentic. A mixture of wave chasing and rapping over samples old heads can recognize.

He doesn't address much of anything. This feels like a mixtape to me, tbh. There is no narrative (which is fine, every album doesn't need one), subject matter revolves around talking shyt/bragging and some "I'm so rich it hurts" talk. With some traditional Meek shyt about the struggles of the past. But overall you learn nothing about the man listening to this, and every track could have been released years ago and you wouldn't know it.
This is the guy we were told was an important figure for criminal justice yet the album doesn't really dwell on that, at all. No MMG/Ross talk. No Drake talk. No Nicki talk. Nothing. This dude just sucks.

Album is 7/10 at best, some songs he's really spitting but it's doesn't sound like a album. Sounds like a stripped down version of one.

its still a good album, I said take away three songs and you have a great one from start to finish.
I'm not making that big of stretch to make something better than it is.
Meek albums usually need a lot of trimming of the fat.
Meek needs more actual fat on here.
