before ether dropped, nas was just 1 mediocre record away from being irrelevant. granted, he was in a way better position than cassidy is now. but lets not act like nelly was a respected rapper like that. he was a jam rapper that you either listened to or you didnt. i liked nelly, btw. nobody really cared about the music concerning the nelly/krs beef. the bottom line was that nobody cared about krs' propaganda, and nelly's verse on that state prop remix was the only diss worth mentioning between the two.
