After a quick listen, my hope for Meek artistically would be in a few years he follows a more J. Cole/4:444 approach to making albums, instead of the way outdates Jadakiss method, which is a staple of major labels and traditional deals, "something for everyone". There are some tracks, but rarely as emotionally honest or compelling as the best of his last two EP's.
At least 3 really cliched, and not esp. well executed "fly in ya girl" songs, when will rappers stop making these?
"Heavy Heart" is really dope. I fukk with that one.
