it is definitely good hip hop and good rapping and straight bars -- but i guess im into wordplay and entendres and stuff that makes me have to listen and catch stuffi ain't that type of person either but it's still good hip hop IMO

I can see that. that was my original gripe with him and why I felt him and wale brought a balance to mmg, cuz when wale his in his bag, he's on that wordplay shyt heavy...meek on the other hand is all delivery/aggression/energy, though his bars come off clever every now and then

but i will bump this album at the gym to get that 2nd listen.
i still got to listen in the gym.
but i just love wordplay and dope creative concepts and melodies so jay, future and kendrick albums are still in rotation.

I know he probably felt like he had to put some of these bangers and the chick tracks on here to break up the overall theme of the album, but imo they sound kind of out of place and weak to me..with that said tho the other 75% of this album is fire and some of the best shyt Iv heard from Meek. Good album.
