Nevermind about ASAP. I can see you rushing to the exit with that deflection. This thread is about Meek.

When a show is promoted as "rapper + friends", especially at a large venue, the audience knows major guests are gonna come through. and that's part of the appeal. Why are we pretending that isn't a huge deal?

:jbhmm:

Nah it's never a "Nevermind with ASAP" with you Peon. Aren't them the guys you run off in every thread discussing? Like Holmes said your ASAP buds couldn't even fill a high school auditorium venue in their humongous home town which happens to be a hip hop mecca.

Quick hating on Meek, yea you HATING. ASAP are all some early washed up has beens, live with that or die a delusional.

How would the audience know whether they'd be fukking with the music of the "friends"?

Considering the damage he's taken in the last year...Why would they expect friends to be anything more than his entourage, upcoming new artists and a few Philly locals?

You're reaching a bit. Give Meek props.

If you see Flex as the DJ, Meek as the main act and "friends" in the title... Would that be compelling for you?

If you look at that crowd, they were vibing to his shyt not on some let's wild out on some mainstream hits... It looked like they were in the zone that Meek was creating on stage.

Especially with the second video with the lighters up... The crowd isn't going to participate if they aren't in the same space as the act.

And as someone above said... The breh had his whole crowd filled with a demographic that many say don't really come out to shows like that.

There were no Ls taken by Meek at all in this thread, breh.

You could easily dig up a plethora of Ls in an older thread...Or patiently wait for Meek's next L on some TMZ shyt... But don't create one where he doesn't have one. :yeshrug:

Be a little meek about the situation, breh.

Of course it would be. shyt.... Thiefypoo's retarded ass said she was expecting more rappers and some didn't show.

As I said before..... knowing that Meek did something like this 2 years ago and brought out a gang of people... and the fact that Funk Flex is DJing.... that means it's not gonna be Dark Lo as the 'friends' highlight. Use common sense, breh.

Meek did something like this 2 years ago while he was in a stable situation regarding the totem pole we know as hip hop.

2 years later, he's no where near in the stable position he was in... Did not have the same clout, nor the influence.

Considering how fickle the rap get could be... It's disingenuous for you to not give Meek props for this.

Unless you have footage of the rest of the acts creating a response from the crowd vastly different from Meek... I don't know, your argument is losing steam a bit.

I understand what you're saying though...
