I, really think from this poor planned pr run .
he thought he was going to pr some shyt and bully a no response from drake like drake typically does.
I guess this new Gen of ghost writers has a battle rap guy ready in the aweetback backup band the incredible fakes backing up drake.

Breh, this is more than likely what happened than these nikkas on some Illuminati stopping Meek from dropping his freestyle :heh:

Oh ok. Who?

See this is the part where the conversation gets funny because nobody can ever give a direct answer.

It's always some vague shyt like "man...uh....everybody!"

Or they name something that's been disproved years ago, like Jay Elec and Nas.

So now it's your turn. Who? Please give me a good answer so I can get off this merry-go-round.

Fred.

Keeping it 100 fam, Drake didn't ask for this and responded twice. If Meek was Fetty Wap or some shyt I wouldn't trip, but this nikka was a BATTLE RAPPER. He instigated this shyt like he had no idea what it could lead too. You don't kick it off with a nikka knowing you are on tour and will have little studio time without a few in the chamber. Meek my nikka and I don't believe he bit off more then he can chew, but he damn sure isn't playing chess. I'll give him 24 hours, but I shouldn't have to:yeshrug:

Yes Meek did ask for Drake to diss him. That I have zero problem with. My problem is with people expecting him to have a diss song out in 3 days. The first part is, its 3 fukking days. Not 3 months. Not 3 years. 3 days. People are going side ways because of a few days. The second part of it is it displays a bigger problem with some Hip Hop fans. The quality of Hip Hop has been diluted because people want to rush/push rappers. They have to get a whole mixtape worth of songs out quickly or fast 'freestyles' so they end up rushing music and making it watered down. Or in Drake's case, they have to hire a team of writers to roll around with. This whole beef has exposed a lot about the younger Internet Hip Hop Heads and their negative impact on the music.

TONS of people on this website complain that music isn't what it used to be...well when it came to battles it used to take a while. People weren't responding in 3 days. So wait, let him cook something up, and chill. Drake fans making memes and trying to call the game before the other team gets to come up to bat is LAME AF.

That's my point.. How was Meek not ready for this?? ESPECIALLY if he feels he has ghostwriters? He should have 3 ready to go off top... I mean am I wrong? NO reply? Not even a quick16?

Dawg, this makes too much sense for people to listen.

I've never seen so many personal agendas that were tied to the interests of ANOTHER nikka and not the person doing the agendizing. :pachaha:

Some of these Coli dudes is wild corny.

The Truth
Y r u defending this?
I'm not defending, I'm educating

I make beats.. I've worked with aspiring artists/rappers, producers, and actual musicians.. I've had studio sessions and seen/experienced how shyt goes. I've had shyt stolen from me without any credit or any pay

I joined the military just to get money to go to art school

I also DESPISE sampling but have seen producers use it and make dope shyt... to me this isn't in any way different and in ways, hypocritical

Just like you "purists" think a rapper should write rhymes from scratch, I feel like a producer should make beats from scratch. Most producers/beatmakers don't but I'm not going to hate on them if they make hot/classic shyt

In my mind, its the same thing. In artists minds, it;s the same thing
