It's true, but the same guy he exposed back then is the same guy he's beefing with now... Ross played the situation so well, people didn't even care that he fabricated his past. He was no Ja Rule, and
If there's anything to learn from Hip Hop, whether it's Drake vs. Meek, Ja Rule vs. 50, Ross vs. 50, Meek vs. 50 or whatever type of beef there has been... It's that no matter how big of an L you take or no matter how bad you violate the rules, you can always bounce back by just dropping incredible music. Not everyone who wins the battle wins the war. Drake was exposed for having writers, but nobody cares. Why? Because the music is good to the majority of the masses.

If his music was half as nice or was exposed by a much more capable and credible rapper (see: Kendrick, J. Cole, or any Rap Veteran that's not DMX because people would label him crazy...), he wouldn't be walking around like the way he is now, so he's lucky. As long as Drake can keep pumping out hits, he's good.
...Now, the real issue is, when the steam starts to die down, what will people say? I guess we'll have to wait until then, but like with many artists we all love, sometimes the smoke starts to clear and you see things you were blind to previously. Whether time will bode well for Drake or not is up to him, but when it's all said and done, people will remember those L's. It just depends on how great his run is from here.
