I wish everyone luck... but lets keep it real, as of yet dude aint 'pop' off of music. He popped off of an internet meme of a cool dance. If dude can come up with tons of dances then yeah he going to be around... but he aint make a name for himself off of songs yet... not at all. not in a hate way... just saying dude hasnt made a song that folks just rock with for the music or hook or whatever... right now its all off of his dance.

The song didnt blow because of the dance..the dance helps but its not the real reason people are checkin for dude.

Troy Ave (and i'm not mad at him displaying that old NY arrogance) talked way more than he needed to when he started getting a little buzz from his song during a dry period for NY. Trinidad James pointing out the South was running things helped him more than any of his own music did. Trinidad James embarrassed NY dj's who had to look in the mirror and see what T James said was right. You leave ATL and go to NY and the radio doesn't change. These DJ's HAD to go out of their way to support Troy Ave, to look like "see we rep NY" while they still playing majority Young thug, Young Money and whatever other non NY artists.


This kid got organic buzz and got the people supporting him. The regular folks on the streets of NY supporting. It's from the ground up. Not the industry down. That's the difference between him and Troy Ave. Also the kid has a personality and is really having fun. Troy Ave started talking like 50 cent without any of 50's accomplishments. Talking about we turning down these label offers etc. etc. shyt them same label offers now on the table for Shmurda.......He better hope T.I and them are still interested because in HipHop these days you only buzz for a sec. Next season it's gonna be someone else. And don't let these kids come up with another popping song.
