I fukkin hate this woman

Everything she does there's a camera

She's such a celebrity and ALWAYS IN front of a podium

she doesn't give a fukk about the costs of what she pushes...just her hyperliberal agenda and her star

if she ever gets another office in Washington I'm fukking gone.

I haven't disliked a politician as much as her since maybe dikk Cheney

Look at this arrogance

In an op-ed released today (council staff say the Timesdeclined to print it but invited her to "resubmit [as] a letter to the editor of 200 words or less"), Sawant responds to this scoldy editorial. It demanded she apologize to new temporary council member John Okamoto for calling him, basically, a tool of the corporate establishment on Monday as a majority of the rest of the council voted to approve him to replace Sally Clark.

Basically...another council.member...a TEMPORARY member...would not sit on her side of the table on $15 wages...rent control (her new baby) and other issues...and she burys the shyt out of him calling him a corporate tool....including writing a letter to embarrass him.

Her own council sonned her:

Sawant’s slash-and-burn style is as unbecoming as it is ineffective. Her fellow Councilmember Tom Rasmussen called her comments “odious,” and lamented that she “would stoop so low.” Councilmember Sally Bagshaw described them as “exploitative and mean. And, worse, untrue.” Councilmember Bruce Harrell was campaigning the next day for Sawant’s opponent in November, Urban League President Pamela Banks.

Her colleagues’ reaction sent a clear message: Good luck getting votes for your next legislative priority, Councilmember Sawant.
What a joke. She is disgraceful.

The Sonics
Socialism is just another white philosophy. Get this bedwench and her commie pal Bernie (Jew) Sanders out of here.
:usure:
The Black Panthers were a socialist movement, Thomas Sankara was a socialist.

Sheeeeeeit, let's see what these famous cacs had to say about socialism -

MLK -
"I imagine you already know that I am much more socialistic in my economic theory than capitalistic... [Capitalism] started out with a noble and high motive... but like most human systems it fell victim to the very thing it was revolting against. So today capitalism has out-lived its usefulness".

Malcolm X -
"all of the countries that are emerging today from under the shackles of colonialism are turning toward socialism. I don’t think it’s an accident. Most of the countries that were colonial powers were capitalist countries and the last bulwark of capitalism today is America and it’s impossible for a white person today to believe in capitalism and not believe in racism. You can’t have capitalism without racism. And if you find a person without racism and you happen to get that person into conversation and they have a philosophy that makes you sure they don’t have this racism in their outlook, usually they’re socialists or their political Philosophy is socialism".

Chuck D -
"HipHop doesn't need a President. It needs ...Socialism."

Bonus - Socialists in Argentina (fukking Argentina, right?) today -

Be real man, you dislike her because of her policies, not because of her personality. Politicians have done much worse. I also find it alarming that you implied that rent control is a bad thing. I really suggest you go volunteer for some social services groups trying to get people housing before you say something like that. I canno rock with you at all with that type of sentiment. A younger person like you of all people should better than that. As for the 15 dollar minimum wage, why are you complaining about something that is being phased in over the span of years? You mean to tell me that somehow Seattle businesses cannot figure that out over the next 3 years? Really? Minimum wage increases passed in nearly every state where they were on the ballot. It is a highly popular concept.

When I made this thread, yes. But her attention seeking manor is really off putting.

I didn't really make a judgement on rent control when i called it her baby. Rental prices are insane here I am the FIRST to complain.

And they can and will find a way to pay $15

Not hire as many people or raise prices and rates.

She is being recalled :mjlol: election closes Tuesday. I personally voted for the recall, especially funny since I just saw her and she said hello at the coffee shop a moment ago.
