The Americanized ones in Brooklyn/Queens generally are. Not as much as Ricans but still.
The ones in the Bronx/Manhattan are pretty hit or miss. There's a lot of super Fobby clannish Dominicans over there that don't care for anybody outside their culture. Some of them have gotten into clashes with Black Americans too like at DeWitt Clinton High School which had a lot of AA vs DR fights for quite some time now.
But there's also a decent portion of Americanized ones in those boroughs that are chill and some even embrace their Blackness.
There's a decent amount of Afro-Latino Crips in NYC too(some whom are Dominicans but a lot are actually Black Central Americans.)

In sections of the Bronx and uptown Manhattan (above 155th) where the areas are pretty much an extension of the Dominican Republic a lot of them stay to themselves. We’re talking areas where businesses don’t even speak English.
