Megan is Missing is a vile and disgusting film

Saw it on Netflix. Another "found footage" film. They mix together webcam/cell phone shyt among other things. It features: 13 and 14-year old girls discussing their sexual encounters in graphic detail (one girl is talking about how cock tastes and how cum tastes, etc.. which went on for eons). they go to a party and of course there's every drug in the book. Finally the two teens are abducted and the director spends an eternity on the rapes, killings and burials. The director set up the entire scenario to show us how terrible parenting is and how out of control young girls are which is true but he does not spend a second on the fact that the kidnappers/rapists/killers who commit these acts are truly at fault no matter how crazy a young girl may be. No, the girls somehow "deserved" what they got in his view.. smh. Complete torture porn.

I'm sure some would find the whole thing funny.. but I felt it was a total hack job by a perverse director

I don't mind crazy, disturbing shyt in movies but half the people.....hell, I'd say 90% of the people....that make these kinds of movies have zero talent for film making. No sense of narrative, or pacing, or even basic plotting.

True.. see I am not against watching a film about kidnapping (even if it would be disturbing) if the director has talent and is not glorifying the scenario with torture porn bullshyt. Case in point... there is a film called Prisoners that looks like it could be quite good despite the disturbing content.

I don't even necessarily mean kidnapping. I mean crazy, off the wall "torture porn" type shyt. I'm not particularly about that genre of movies, but same as anything else it can be done well, or shytty. And most of these cats are just happy to throw some wild shyt on screen, and that's it. No kind of talent for film making whatsoever.

A good example is "The Human Centipede". fukked up premise. Didn't bother me at all. But the whole movie....acting, writing, pacing, anything....is amateur hour.

I didn't realize it had been discussed in other threads but yeah the disturbing content would be fine if there was an actual point to it but this was completely unnecessary and perverse.

Agreed. Just not a good movie overall. The actual kidnapping was also kinda disturbing to me though, but the movie was just lacking

Yeah we talked about this shyt right around when the board first started up in the documentary thread. The last 30 minutes are terrible. shyt is basically child pornography even though the girls are of age. It will scare the hell out of your teenage daughter though.

There was this move called "The Girl Next Door" The Girl Next Door (2007) - IMDb ..not the Elisha Cuthbert one but the one from 2007...it will PISS YOU OFF. Maybe like nothing you've ever seen...the cowardice...the stupidity of that boy..not DOING JACK shyt for that long. GOODNESS GRACIOUS..it was irritating to watch.

Somehow I have completely skipped over the Netflix thread and some other tremendous threads in here... I need to catch up on 'em. Anyway, I felt that this is a subject that could have been handled a lot better. The director came off like a perv and very exploitative. I would have liked to see a director treat these sick fukks as they are... monsters. They would do this shyt to anyone at any time. There's no real reason. They are just waiting to pounce on any young girl who is out in public and vulnerable.
