i don't blame him when you look at it like that
I'm in the minority here, but I feel most folks should aim for that big contract and then skip out once they hit 30. From that point on, ever year its, "Omg guys he's a year older, will his body breakdown 
" or "Hey he's a year older, its time to restructure that contract. That cap hit is going to hurt the team." 
Why deal with that level of stress from within the organization when you're already putting your welfare on the line against external opponents?
