Where did you learned he passed out I imagine some media source? Seem like everything Trump does makes headlines and even on here half the threads in TLR are about Trump and his administration. His approval numbers are low. I'm bothsider but anytime I see a article or a news story it's mainly negative about him. People are protesting and there's been attempts on his life what else do you want until midterms?

The same day the dude passed out in the white house this week. Which was like Wednesday or Thursday. Trump was clearly knocked the fukk out while Dr. Oz was speaking. And the media just brushed over it. And if he wasn't knocked out then he was showing signs of sleep apnea like he involuntarily was not awake. But, I'm not a doctor. I just know that if Biden did that shyt last year the fukkin media would not let that rest.

My pessimism comes when people talk about old policies like the Fairness Doctrine in the news, and Glass-Steagall in finance....how those were good frameworks that were dismantled.

Are there bigger issues 100%. I personally don't feel the media is treat Trumps Cognitive/Health issues anywhere near the same critical level they did Biden. Trump was shorting out on the Campaign trail last year. He was just spry during the debate when Biden completely glitched out. But, there is a clear double standard in how the media treats Trump. You wouldn't be wrong to say that they cover all his crazy shyt, but he's crazy so it's flooding the zone. But, at the same time you have clear fukk ups that just get brushed away.

Like for example there was that time Biden was making fun of Trump having a brain fart about planes during the Revolutionary War. Joe Rogan treated that shyt like Biden really thought planes were flying during the revolutionary war. And then when he saw it was Trump that actually did that. He just downplayed it and moved on. And was like gee Biden is so out of it you could easily think he really thought that. But, didn't return the volley and be like got damn Trump might be fukked up.

Which to bring all this back to THIS thread. That type of shyt is what CTG's bytch ass is doing here. Medhi explains something and CTG is like "I Agree" BUT and then tries to pivot onto the DEMS. When you do that you don't actually agree with what Mehdi is saying. This constant framing of both sides being the same, or both sides are equally at fault. I wish I had your algorithm. I'm a bothsider didn't vote last election and my shyt is all anti-trump as far as politics are concern. I haven't seen any video talk bad about dems or democrats on my shyt. To expound on this point a bit, not only are both sides the same, equally at fault, etc, but the onus is 100% on Democrats to fix whatever ails people.

This leads to "Well what are the Democrats doing about it it?" when Republicans are cutting up and "Democrats failing once again" if anyone fukks up.

And the framing is always lopsided. If there is a bill we don't like in congress, 200 some Democrats oppose it, and just enough which can be 8 or can be a dozen cross the aisle and get it passed, it's "The democrats." No real smoke for the 200+ LOCKSTEP Republicans, and throwing all Democrats under the bus.

For those of us that talk about politics, this shyt trickles to normal people who don't. Folks get certain things they don't realize come from Democrats because the common refrain is "they don't do anything." Republicans constituents LOVE for Republicans to say "no" to everything Dems propose, and Democratic constituents hate to even think their reps aren't delivering, even if contextually, it isn't their fault. So then I've spent the last 5+ years just not being political. I would argue that most the sites have a bias. For example for the last week. All I use Twitter for technically is fantasy sports, sports betting, and i'll never say no to t*ts an ass.

But, somehow no matter how many times I click the stop showing this ad to me button. It shows up and then takes like an entire day to actually "disappear" from my shyt.

For perspective for everytime I come across a Brian Tyler Cohen link. I scroll like 5 people and I'll see a Clay Travis or Ben Shapiro, or Candice Owens, of not all of them. You could argue that some of that is from 5+ years ago when I looked for right of Center things. Or it could just be that I've somehow stumbled into something that is purposely trying to draw out my engagement or trigger my reactions? Which I'm human that's fully possible. So again how you get the cleanest news, I don't know. But, when I come across clips like THE one with CTG. I'm going to listen to what they say and I trust my brain enough to think I can gauge if they are full of shyt or not. And so far the bulk of the CTG clips I've encountered. He's FULL of shyt.

I think something else that might be happening is you're getting targeted by some ad group based on your area and demographic. I think for me it might be some liberal political organization out there who is pushing ads for young men, who consume a lot of urban music and content or maybe google assume I'm a dem based on data they pulled.

Trump fukkin passed out in the White House this week and the media was crickets. Biden had done that last year. Our devices would've melted from the over coverage. Ted Koppel, Dan Rather, Sam Donaldson are still alive. Could you imagine them trying to both sides frame our current environment?

Meanwhile both of those people don’t even watch the news. I was in a courtroom yesterday watching the court pick jurors for a case. Now the problem of CTG and others is even if say I, the individual stop listening. He has an considerable influence in the Black community and people take what he says seriously. He is clearly in place to run interference for the Republicans disguised as 'concern' or being critical of both sides which really means all the smoke for Democrats and none for the 'other side'

Up until the 90s, you had to have some level of expertise if you are going to discuss a subject or at least the intellectual capacity to do some actual research before opening your mouth.

So what you're saying is that we need that same rule that China is implementing where you can't talk on certain subjects on public platforms if you're not qualified. I'm down for that but I know it will never happen. Because it's obvious that the Republicans and White liberals have "chosen" him as one of their representatives for black people as a monolith.
