i like how this fukking bozo gives awful draft analysis, like rating the seahawks class last year an f, and the worst draft in the league, and just moves on to the next year with no repercussions for being a shytty analyst

this draft is actually sick if your squad is good at recognizing talent

its not stacked at the "sexy positions" (QB, WR, RB) but its really deep in the trenches + LB+ Safety

gonna be lots of 3rd-4th-5th round surprises in this one

Jets fans (me being one of them) will likely rain boos about a non-sexy Warmack pick, but it fills a big need.

I would be happy with Mingo\Warmack in the first, and hope we can land Hopkins in the second.

Jets fans would boo the Mingo pick more than the Warmack one. I think any hard core Jets fan knows we need guard help.

I like my Steelers picking Eifert, especially with Heath coming off an ACL injury.

But this draft is sooo weak at the top, I would not be surprised one bit if someone slips to 17 :manny:

However, I dont know why the Jets arent seriously considering taking EJ Manuel, or using that second first round draft pick and trading down to get him. You basically let him sit on the bench, and when Sanchez implodes, you put him in the line up to get the experience. By that time in the season, the team most likely will have very little expectations. :ld:

They have to address this QB situation and I think this is the year they do it.

They'd get crucified for trying to draft a QB, let alone in round 1. The only worse QB pick they can make is taking Barkley.

FWIW, the Jets DO like Manuel, but this is NOT the year to take a QB. It simply isn't. Our QB will be picked in the top 5 in 2014, not now.

and the Jets already have low ass expectations.

The Vikings looking to trade up for tavon Austin :ohhh:

If they come up off 23 + 2 + 4th or something like that the Jets would gladly give them #9 to take Austin.

Draft analysis and life coach, no degrees needed, no results needed

I agree. The more I think about it, the more I hope they take Cooper with the 9th pick, and then Jarvis at 13, or trade down.

Guard and pass rusher are our two biggest needs in the 1st round.

I think we could survive with our WRs, although Hopkins in the late first (assuming a trade down) or early 2nd wouldnt be a bad thing.

Safety is another glaring hole, and some CB depth.

Serious question, does Kiper talk to teams to determine any of this or he just winging it because once the trades fly in none of the mocks will matter?

Mel's mock draft is more like an educational quess type thing. Its a little more then winging it, but you catch my drift
