Dont mind the Star pick, especially since after Milliner the drop off is pretty steep. Lotta Bucs fans want Austin, but no way we go offense. Never heard of Taylor though, any CFB gurus got any reports?

They were talking about him on Path to the Draft on NFL network..saying he could be a sleeper pick. They all seemed pretty high on him.Pretty athletic.

If Star is there at 9, Idzik may have to keep Rex locked up in a room somewhere because he'd pick him so fast it would make Idzik's head spin

Drafting geno would definitely create a buzz. Im not sure if he's the right pick. Definitely not the safe pick but I've felt Chip Kelly had the balls to make this pick all along.

He's basically creating another Reid/McNabb situation tho. They're gonna be linked together forever

A few guys over on the Bucs boards were saying hes probably one of the best man coverage CBs in the draft :ehh:

Fits what were trying to do on defense.

Star and McCoy up front :whew:

Id be shocked if he fell, because a lot of reports have him fitting better in the 3-4

Yall might end up with our pick at 13 anyway though :youngsabo:

Star Lotulelei
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-9)
COLLEGE: Utah
AGE: 23
HT: 6-2
WT: 311
POS: DT

Analysis: This isn't the top need for the Bucs, but now that Lotulelei has been cleared medically, he becomes a steal at this spot on the board. Cornerback is a need, but the drop off from Milliner to the best available option is enough where the Bucs miss out on some board value if they take one here. You simply can't have enough depth on the defensive line, and Lotulelei is one of those rare defensive tackles with the potential to become dominant.

I wouldnt be mad with this pick, but I'd prefer to add Jarvis Jones if he was still on the board.

Would love to solidify our other OLB position with Jarvis Jones added to Mason Foster and Lavonte David.

I feel like Star's impact would be > Jarvis. I dont have any faith in Sheridan to use Jarvis creatively enough

Y'all would be fools not to get Tavon Austin if he was available. Star's a beast, but y'all need an Austin type WR/scat back type dude

I think the Jags should cop Geno or Luke Joeckel if he isnt picked first, i cant stand watch Blaine Gabbert anymore! :snoop:

Im on the fence about this to be honest, i dont even know if Freeman can make the passes that would utilize him best. Our defense is just terrible right now on paper, no depth at all :wow:

If we do get Austin, itd basically be us banking on outscoring yall twice a year :pachaha:

Yeah, I wouldn't be upset at all if we had him next to Gerald McCoy, Adrian Clayborn, and Da'Quan Bowers.

I'd like to finally be able to get more pressure on the QBs with just our DL like in the good ol days of Warren Sapp, Booger McFarland, Simeon Rice, and Greg Spires/Ellis Wyms
