Goatganda the pearl of Africa
Lou, a proven winner and one of the greatest minds in NHL history got shown the door for a no experience having kid. Only in Leaf land.

Look at the islanders winning with less.

Yup islanders even lost Tavares have no stars
Lou is a magician

Now nylander got paid a mill for every goal this year

Marner going to want 13,14 mill

Still can't believe that game yesterday. Definitely one for the ages.

Had to watch the highlights this morning since I missed all 4 of SJ goals thinking game was over and flipped to POR/OKC. Just unreal.

Absolutely AWFUL call. That is a 2 minute minor penalty at most. It probably should not have even been a penalty.

Yet, they giving me five minute major game misconduct and the Sharks score for power play goals. This is Saints vs Rams level of bad call.
it was a bad call but they were up 3-1 in the series and were up 3-0 with 10 minutes left in the game.

They're winning because of Trotz and Lehner mostly. Lou is good too but he signed the 2 albatross contracts the Leafs have (Marleau, Zaitsev). The only reason there is a cap crunch is because that's 10 million wasted on bad players. Lou is a great leader and played his role but he went to go work with his son with the NYI.

Babcock is the biggest reason why the Leafs lost that series. And Dubas will let his nuts hang and replace him with Sheldon Keefe and the team will be miles better for it. :yeshrug: there has already been signs of this change coming all season, and Babcock didn't adjust at ANY point. The loss just solidified it. The players hate him too, he's the reason why Lidstrom retired early even though he had more years in him.

Sheldon Keefe has worked with Dubas since 2011, has been great at every single level... and isn't a retard like Babcock. Babcock actively ruins player's value by not playing them too (Leivo).

He doesn't even know about the team's organizational depth :gucci:

He stacks the first PP unit, and then plays both units equal time. Which makes zero logical sense. Not to mention their PP strategy consists of "pass the puck to Marner" or Matthews makes an insane shot. And it was like this ALL YEAR with no adjustment

He waited until 12 minutes left in game 7 to try something different despite trailing the whole game. And his answer was to move Marleau up in the lineup. People knew Marleau and Brown were terrible and were hanging out Nylander to dry since it was announced that that was a line before game 3. He waits until 12 minutes left to put Moore and Ennis with him like people said he should have as soon as Kadri got suspended. :mindblown:

Losing game 7 is worth it if they fire Babcock and finally close the door on the last gen Leafs by losing Gardiner and Kadri. :ld:

Pathetic. :mjlol: all Cassidy had to do is put Bergeron out there for Babcock to put Matthews on the bench. Lose game 7 and refusing to use your best players :russ: get destroyed on special teams every game. with Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Rielly, and Nylander on your roster (5 elite offensive players). Your PP should be elite, but his is terrible. His strategy doesn't even fit the roster. It's mindboggling. But he won with Team Canada (the best hockey roster ever assembled), and the Red Wings (best franchise in the last 20 years by far) with 3 Hall of Famers (GOAT defenseman) so he must be good. :mjlol:

Caps should have 2-3 more goals and Holtby let in two awful ones. Could definitely see the Canes stealing this in OT.
