This was the difference in the game:
They called Landeskog offsides for that when he was trying to get on the bench but I guess the door was fukked up for a second. Thoughts @BucciMane ?
They couldn't call too many men on the ice either but they could call it offsides. I wonder if the rule is gonna get changed because of this.
Since the Sharks challenged it, they had to go by the rule.. if they don't the Sharks get a penalty on top of that. It was the correct call, but i hate the rule.. it reminds me of baseball, when a player slides over the bag and loses contact for a split second.. and during the review, the tag stays on the runner.. by rule, hes out, but it goes against the spirit of the rule.
It was a big call in the game, but at the same time, the Sharks played back most of the 3rd protecting the lead.. just like a damn prevent defense in football. It worked cuz they won, but it gave Colorado chance after chance. The sharks were better when they keep the puck on the boards and wear out the defense.
