I don’t think it’s just about money with her. She was a social climber, and with Trump, he had a lot of power and social clout in Manhattan. Now, those crowds will be embarrassed to be seen with him, and they will have to live at Mar a Lago, or buy a house in Palm Beach. She can never go back to being a Manhattan socialite.
No more red carpets. No more movie premieres or award show invites since Hollywood hates him. He can’t even go the the Correspondent’s Dinner NOW, and he’s the president. What other president skipped that and the Kennedy Center Honors? The man has broken presidential traditions with his extremely poor personality.
