Wow you're an idiot. Melissa Harris Perry is apologizing because it was her show that the statements were made. She is apologizing because she is the one who devoted an entire segment to mock something as innocent as a family photo.

Who gives a shyt what color the woman who made the statement was or what color Harris-Perry is? Wrong is wrong.

While she did not make the specific comment, her even setting that up was in poor taste. I thought better of her, I still like her show but I am disappointed.

if I was 20 years old I would smash her... I don't agree w all her opinions and her dikkking riding of everything liberal -- but I like her style and intellect.


I do feel sorry for lil Kieran.... i have a son name kiran.... if the Romney, Mormon cac family adopted him if I died -- I would resurrect and rescue his ass. fukk being the black dot.

i find nothing wrong with the segment itself, at the most i see maybe something a little wrong with pia glenn, and color mattered in response to the hypothetical posed by the guy i was conversing with

also, i think MHP is an idiot for apologizing. right wing media does far worse to obama's family. :ld:

apparently up until 1978 black people couldn't join the church leadership or be priests.

I think Jimmy Carter threatened to removed the church's tax status then "all of a sudden" they got a "revelation" from "god" saying they had evolved on the issue. :usure:

It's quite simple really... and in any sane environment you would think this is automatic. Just leave peoples kids out of political point scoring.... And seriously what on earth is going on ,on msnbc ? Baldwin, Bashir, now MHP, ,you also had ed schultz and his 'talk slut' comment about laura ingraham, I know fox has it's moments... but that MSNBC just sinks to a whole new level into the gutter month by month... What I also don't get is the stupidity, leaving aside MHP, and the fools on the panel, there surely is a grown up on the studio who superivises all this? a producer ? on what planet did anyone present in the studio at the time think this wouldn't dump a whole load of excrement on them? It's like the whole Bashir thing, I know bashir said it, but someone would have researched all that about the punishments of that slaver overseer, it was a team effort... MSNBC seem to be trying to emulate fox ,but failing, maybe if they hired more blondes with law degrees, and less race hustlers, less women who look like men and less nerdy looking homosexuals. And really the nastyness on fox has some style also the anchors and contributors on fox seem to have a great rapport fox even seems a bit like a family on screen joking with each other whereas MSNBC seems cold and humourless , being personally insulting which is what MSNBC seems to do is just far too primative,hence the ratings being shyt.What MSNBC need to do, is become more diverse, get not just obamaites and libs as anchors and contributors, have plenty of healthy ,funny debate between glamourous pretty people. And make sure someone grownup is around to make supervise and get rid of the insane people.

Also and I say this as an outsider, I think a real problem with america are it's endless 'conversations' about race, and both sides being offensive, there was no need for meagan kelly to make those snarky remarks about 'black santa', and neither is there any need for MSNBC to devote an entire segment , to make remarks about a throughly decent thing a conservative politican's family decided to do for a black child.Leave the 'humor' to john stewart and bill maher .... seriously . Can you imagine what a much more productive country the US would be,if it wasn't held back by all this?
