He shot alot last night but he rarely does, he played Atlanta a few nights ago and took 10 shots. He is taking his lowest amount of shots per game since like 04 He also plays great defense and he passes more and hustles more. Actually he defers to much in my book.

For years all I heard is fukk boys say Melo is fat he doesn't play defense he doesn't pass which wasn't true then. It's the narrative casual basketball fans use who don't watch games

They really need to start using him at the top of the key more since he has bigs that can make a few passes now. He made 5 plays from the top of the key last night. He's very tough to deal with when slashing from there. He has so many options. a two dribble pull up/pass. A layup/dunk or kick out or he can hit a cutter.

I think it's just cause of him rounding out to form that he has taken less shots and Kristaps being better then advertised has helped too. Carmelo is still a gunner and by the end of the season he will be taking 20 shots a game as usual.
