I think it all stems from his rookie year. He and Lebron were supposed to be the next Magic and Bird. But Lebron is just better than him so people are mad at him for not holding up his end of the bargain.

Cats are mad at Melo for not being a playmaker like LeBron, when that has NEVER been his game.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Okay, but now you're flipping Reddikk to a non contender. If you can flip Reddikk to a non playoff team and possibly get a pick from 10-15, I'm okay with that.

The Magic want to make the playoffs, that's the thing, whoever trades for Reddikk will be close to the playoff chase and therefore the pick wont be that great unless you get extremely lucky.

I don't see the Magic making it with Reddikk, so if this make believe scenario was to happen, we could get extremely lucky that pick could turn top 10 and with our pick most likely being in the top 10. Sign me up for this scenario. Two top 10 picks, rose and melo off the books, Noah would be next on the trading block for envelopes and bubble gum

Bruh, you're not getting a lottery pick for Melo, first and foremost he wont waive his NTC to go to any of the teams that have those kind of picks. Secondly, the only team with high picks like that in the playoffs would be the Celtics and they damn sure ain't giving up a Nets pick for him.

If you can flip Reddikk to a team like the Magic for one of their prospects (Hezonja) + a pick, then do it even if it's not a lottery pick. Melo is about to be 33 years old, you're not getting prime packages for him.

:comeon:

Reddikk is 32 turning 33 in July and will expire after this season. So the Magic will trade their 5th overall pick from last year on top of another pick for a guy that's worse and older than their starting 2 guard. Really breh? How does that even make sense for the Magic?

Redikk with that contract is very attractive to teams needing a boost. He is actually the best part of that deal because of the money.

Crawford is a solid off the bench, but he makes way too much money and about to turn 37. The Knicks will eat that, but it looks like the clippers deal is the best one to be had right now.

Okay, so when Noah or Melo was dealing with injuries, people were quick to sh*t on them. KP has gotten too many passes for not playing up to par, imo.
I actually agree with this. People are still in the honeymoon phase. I like the kid, he has so much potential, but I see where you coming from. At Atlanta, missing 2/3 freethrows at the end of OT to take it into 2OT was inexcusable for a guy who can shoot the way he does.

They are willing to trade Ibaka, someone they gave up Victor Oladipo and a draft pick for, they also offered Vuccimane and a first rounder for Goran Dragic. Their team is DESPERATE to make the playoffs, their GM has made awful moves left and right and is in panic mode to save his job. The Magic are supposedly looking to trade for shooting, Reddikk who is hitting 44% from three sort of fits that bill, right?

The same 5th pick that doesn't play, ever?

Melo is not even capable of leading a team to the playoffs in the east.

It is better to see what you ultimately have with Porzingis than to waste the final productive years of Melo's career. How are you guys not getting this?

What the fukk:mjlol::mjlol:
No knicks fan can justify that:mjlol:

Getting his contract off the books is a win. You're not getting anything of value in return. It's just a matter of if the Clippers actually think Melo can help them beat the Spurs or Warriors.
