They're just feeling self consciousness because Melo's selflessness has them feeling some type of way about their own inadequacies. People act as if Melo intended to bring peace on earth because he decided to visit the favelas. Dude was just intrigued about how the less than live their daily lives, as he's always shown an intrest in throughout his career.

The reality is had he been found acting a fool in a whorehouse instead of this, most nikkas would be more at ease with his behaviour. Pathetic.
