There are multiple favelas in Rio folks. Beautiful video by pHarrell and snoop dogg was in a tourist favela. Let's not be naive like he wasn't in one that was cleaned up for the Olympics. You think they painting murals of rich Americans in the savage favelas?

Selarón is not a favela at all, but it has a lot of homeless people selling stuff to tourists, and all the local dope fiends hang out by the arcos da lapa a few blocks away

and the botanical garden where they filmed is literally a restaurant with a pool in the middle
