It took me awhile but Im starting to feel sorry for Bulls fans for that horrible front office. There's absolutely no reason they have never acquired a big name free agent.

i said this when melo chose NY over CHI and i'll say it again:
there was a very slim chance that he was getting a ring with the bulls anyway so he might as well get as much money as he can with the knicks
either way, he's not winning a ring as the number one option. that ship sailed

Melo wasting his last prime years sitting out the playoffs though, Bulls would have been a ECF lock, probably Finals with Melo last season. Even if they don't win, he could have cemented his legacy further with some classic playoff performances.
I guess there's a price tag on all that with him though
