Melo is not in the conversations causes he chooses money over winning. Every NBA podcast... sportcenter don't really mention me lose name anymore. Ask yourself why ? Melo wouldn't LASY on the spurs due to the fact that POP demands ceartin things if you are going to play there. Plus he pushes his players hard in practice he also dosent care about how much money you make he will sit you on a bench in a heartbeat.
