Excuse me but how many finals appearances does Melo have? How many final MVP's does he have? Surely someone you guys hold in this high regard should have made it to the NBA finals at least once, right? :jbhmm:

Seems like you dodged the question. Can you say with a straight face that Kawhi is as talented a scorer as Melo? :jbhmm:

I will say Kawhi right now is as good and he's played half as much seasons with a straight face. Melo played on Denver teams where he had the green light to take as many shots as he felt, Kawhi doesn't have that green light like that in San Antonio, also Melo played more minutes his career than Kawhi.

Melo is a glorified stat nikka just like Bernard King. nikka has no rings or finals appearances and nikkas glorify him as god when the nikka can't guard a mannequin.

Yeah now I know you're BSing :dead:

Kawhi has literally only TWO good seasons where he was a star player. Which teams have Kawhi been on where he wasn't on a team with 6 or 7 other players who can score 25 any given night? I'll wait :mjlol:. Don't judge a player like Kawhi who has benefited from playing with 3 bonafide hall of famers, to Carmelo or even Lebron

And that one year that Carmelo had a title contending team in 2009, that went to the Western Conf Finals, he averaged 23 ppg that season, and the same season had a quarter where he scored 33 points, with a bunch of game winners throughout his career

Compare a prolific scorer who make clutch game winning or game tying shots to a player who just started to improve his one one skills 1 year ago brehs :laff:

And how many garbage teams has Melo been on when he hasn't just statpadded :mjlol:? nikka is a "prolific clutch scorer" but can't make the playoffs in the east :mjlol:

And Kawhi has had two great seasons and in those two seasons he's already accomplished more than Melo:laff: 2x DPOTY, NBA Champion and Finals MVP. Melo has a fukking scoring title :laff:

Keep overrating individual accomplishments with team awards brehs :laff:. Have 3 hall of famers on your team, with 6 or 7 other players who can score 25+ a night to easily win 55+ games a year and gloat about individual accomplishments brehs :laff:

Don't worry breh. Duncan would retire either this year or next. Ginobili would retire prob the same year as Duncan. After then, I really wanna see if Kawhi becomes the star you so desperately want him to be :bryan:

they got Aldridge for be Kawhi's sidekick down the line :yeshrug:

Duncan is just there to provide leadership and shyt like that nowadays. He's averaging 8/5 and you're acting like Kawhi is just there hiding behind him like Rondo was with Pierce, Ray, and KG.

As long as he makes the playoffs hes already doing better than Melo :mjlol: Where's Melo going to be in a year or two? Playing in china with Starbury just so he can win a fukking game? :lolbron:

I don't give a fukk about the spurs or Kawhi like that but I will and continue to say Kawhi has had a better career than the hyped up statpadder. Melo has a scoring title, a fukking scoring title:mjlol:

Duncan is barely doing shyt as it is. He is just there for leadership and rim protection at this point.

You can never underestimate a hall of famer and how much they garner attention on the court. Look at Kobe in his last season. WAY past his prime, but still might draw double teams, and coaches brainstorm on how to stop you

Same with Paul Pierce this year, or Garnett, or Vince Carter. Look at Shaq. In his last year on the Celtics where he could barely move, he was still drawing some double teams and garnered attention

When all those hall of famers retire on the Spurs, all that attention would zero in on Kawhi. Then let's see how he handles double teams, or coaches designing a defense dedicated to stopping him. His elementary one on one moves wouldn't work that time. He's a great player, and could be a franchise player soon, but I think all the hype he's getting is premature

if that's the case then Melo's 2013 wasn't impressive since they had Jason Kidd and Rasheed Wallace :what:

Lamarcus Aldridge isn't retiring and he's gonna help Kawhi carry the offense once 40 year old Duncan retires. The Spurs just gotta replace a PG once Parker gets older
