Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Some1 who he respects enough to let them control the ball... He hasn't played with a guy that can get him easier looks and let him not have to force so much. Look at how much of a different player he was on the Olympic squad. AI was winding down when he went to Denver, but in their primes that could of worked. He really needs Chris Paul, even Rondo would be ideal.

He isn't a creator like LeBron he needs a pg instead of all the mediocre guys he has had

Now the nikka needs an entire Olympic squad to win an NBA chip?? :ohlawd:

He had his best season with Billups (winning wise), it's too bad that was Billups last year of playing at a high level. I don't think it's an issue of him needing to play off of a point guard to set him up, it's more of that point guard understanding how to handle the other 3 guys on the court so it's not total chaos while Melo iso's. With Felton and JR running around it's just ugly basketball that gets destroyed by more disciplined teams like the Pacers. The Knicks don't have the A+ talent to play that style.

Melo needs to get as far away from JR Smith as possible those 2 will never win if they are option 1a and 1b. He also needs to get in shape but everybody from Denver, to the Olympic teams, to New York has been asking him to get in better shape since that 2008-2009 season. With the way the league is officiated now you don't have to be 250-260 plus to play the SF/PF tweener position, if he was leaner and more explosive he'd have an easier time playing defense and drawing calls.
